As part of their contribution towards the Paris Agreement, the UK has also committed to interim budget goalposts, such as a 68% reduction in emissions by 2030.

These interim budgets are hitting the HVAC sector the hardest, as 37% of all UK emissions come from heating.

Clearly, decarbonising the HVAC sector is essential to achieving net zero. But how do we do it?

A crucial step in the government’s actualisation of net zero is a large-scale transition to heat pumps in UK homes, totalling nearly half of all homes by 2040. Inevitably, the commercial shift to heat pumps will shortly follow.
