Unlike the typical aluminium plate heat-exchangers you’d see in competitor products, our special composite blend is non-corrosive. This means that our plate heat-exchangers will remain as durable and efficient as the day they were made.

We’re so confident in our plate heat-exchangers that we even offer a lifetime warranty on all plate heat-exchangers found within the Airstream – R and Airstream – C lines of heat recovery air handling units (AHUs) for residential and commercial swimming pool ventilation.

Our plate heat-exchangers are uniquely designed and hand-checked to maximise the efficiency of the heat-exchange, allowing up to 90% heat recovery on all of our commercial units and up to 85% for our residential units.

High efficiency of plate heat-exchangers, especially when it comes to heat recovery AHUs, means that less energy is consumed to produce the desired temperatures. The less energy that is consumed means that you have lower running costs and that less water or fossil fuels are consumed to supply the energy that runs the system, costing you and the planet less.
